Description - Gassin
Gassin is located in the middle of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, perched on a rocky promontory less than 4 km from the sea. The village has kept its winding alleys and old picturesque houses. Its geographical location is quite exceptional: it overlooks a landscape of vineyards, wooded areas and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez!
From the ramparts terrace, there is a magnificent landscape stretching from the Iles d'Or to the snowy peaks of the Alps, passing through the Massif des Maures. On the seaside, Port Gassin is being born in the continuity of the already existing lake complexes: Port Grimaud and the Cogolin marines. The Templars have left many traces there.
