Description - Route de l'Ourika
The Ourika Road is the shortest way from Marrakech to the jewel that is the High Atlas. Mountains lovers are naturally attracted to them, the landscapes are breathtaking and the country side of the road offers unparalleled charm.
If one is looking for serenity, the villas scattered along the 45km to the feet of the mountain are the perfect answer. With very different styles, many of them are guesthouses that bring a real dynamic to the region. You will find many artisans along the road, as well as tree nurseries and small villages.
Whether for holidays or to live, this road is a beautiful representation of the Marrakech region. In the winter, it offers a spectacular spectacle with the snow-covered Atlas. During summer it allows quick access to the Ourika valley, at the foot of the Atlas, enjoying a rare freshness thanks to the river coming straight from icy heights. Accustomed to guests, the valley has many restaurants and several sites to visit, including waterfalls.
